Rare comics. Real collectors. Careful transactions.
Rare comics and cards are especially vulnerable to mix-ups and dishonest transactions. A reference cover can be mistaken for a photo of the exact copy. An issue number, edition, grade, or flaw can be misrepresented. Someone may try to buy with a payment method they are not authorized to use, impersonate a buyer, or claim a shipment was never received. Genuine misunderstandings happen too, which is why we document the details instead of assuming every dispute is fraud.
THE RISKS & OUR RESPONSE
- Wrong item or condition: We review the requested title, issue or card, edition, listed condition, available photos, and price with you. We clarify when an image is a reference cover rather than a photo of the exact item.
- Impersonation or unauthorized payment: An inquiry does not trigger a charge. We contact you directly to confirm the request before invoicing. If further identity or payment authorization checks are needed, we explain them and use a separate secure process.
- Fake payment claims: We send a final invoice and payment link only after confirming the order. We begin fulfillment after payment is confirmed through the payment provider, rather than relying on a screenshot or an emailed payment claim.
- Delivery disputes: We send tracking when a shipping label is created, keep order and shipment details, and follow up after delivery so questions about fulfillment can be reviewed against a clear record.
If something is wrong, please contact us promptly so we can review it with you. These steps help prevent fraud and resolve honest problems; they do not take away your rights to raise a legitimate payment dispute.
FIRST COMES THE INQUIRY. Your cart does not reserve an item, charge your card, or create a final order. We confirm the details with you first.
